The three (3) types of end-user roles in Training Partner LMS are Learner, Supervisor, & Instructor as described below.  Based on which role(s) you have, you will need to review and/or print the detailed step-by-step help guides for one or more of the roles listed below.



Learner
This role is assigned to all employees/students who might at some point, enroll in a class offered through the Training Partner LMS.

* For this role, you will ONLY need to review and/or print the
   Learner Help Guide.

Supervisor
In addition to having the Learner role, all Supervisors are assigned this role, which gives them the ability to view information for staff that is under their direct supervision.  This includes viewing the staff’s training history, enrollments, cancellations, and more.

* For this role, you will need to review and/or print BOTH the
   Learner Help Guide and Supervisor Help Guide.

Instructor
In addition to having both the Learner and Supervisor roles, all Instructors are assigned this role, which gives them the ability to review schedule of courses, enrollment status, attendance, and run reports.

Upon login, please make sure to add your County email address to your profile, as the system does not automatically include your email address.  If you have already entered it and have recently transferred to another agency, please make sure to update your email address to that of your new agency.

User Name

 

The majority of users will have a Standard User Name, where as others will have a slightly different user name based on a Hyphenated Last Name, a Duplicate First/Last Name, or a Last Name with an Apostrophe.  Please see complete details below for what your User Name would be.


Standard
Your user name for Training Partner will always be your payroll name; the name you see on your paycheck or pay advice (minus any middle initial).

It needs to be entered in the format of firstname+lastname (with no middle initial or spaces in between).  User names are NOT case sensitive and can be entered in either upper or lower case.

Example:
Someone by the name of Tony D. Smith may have his Payroll Name as Anthony Daniel Smith. For his Training Partner User Name, he would then enter anthonysmith.



Do you have a Hyphenated Last Name?
For those of you that have a hyphenated last name, please try to login with your username in the format of  “firstname+hyphenated lastname.” 

Example:
If your full name was Mary Jones-Taylor, you would then login with a username of maryjones-taylor.



Do you have a Duplicate First/Last Name?
It’s possible that you may have the same first name and last name as someone else within the County who uses Training Partner.  If this is the case, and you are unable to login, you will need to login using your first and last names AND your 6-digit employee #.  Your employee # can be found on your paycheck or pay advice.  

Example:
If Tony Smith tried logging in as “anthonysmith” and was unable to login, it’s probably due to another person with the same first and last name already using Training Partner.

Anthony will then need to login in the format of “firstname+lastname+employee #” For example, anthonysmith012345.



Do you have a Last Name with an Apostrophe?
For those of you that have a last name with an apostrophe, please login with your username in the format of  “firstname+lastname including the apostrophe.” 

Example:

If your full name was Conner O'Neil, you would then login with a username of connero'neil.


Password

 
The initial password for all users = password (All in lower case)
Once logged in successfully,you will be able to change your password.

If you still are experiencing issues with logging in, please contact your agency’s Training Coordinator, who will then notify the Training Partner Administrator.
