Fiesta Patrias Celebration in Downtown Santa Ana

On Sunday, September 14th, I was honored to participate in the 36th Annual Fiesta Patrias Celebration in Downtown Santa Ana. Having attended the parade since 2007, I was proud to see thousands of people come together to commemorate Mexico’s Independence Day. The parade was part of a three-day celebration that began on Friday with carnival rides and street fair, and ended with the City’s themed parade titled “Our Pride That Unites Us” on Sunday evening, showcasing over 100 entries. Thank you to everyone who participated and joined in the celebration!

Townsend Raitt Street Fiesta and Resource Fair

As a member of the Townsend Raitt Task Force since 2008, I was honored to be part of the 7th Annual Townsend Raitt Street Fiesta and Resource Fair in Santa Ana. The focus of this fair is to bring much needed resources to the community, promote community involvement and provide a day of fun for the local children in the area. Hundreds of children and families gathered to enjoy musical performances, games and educational resources. Thank you to my fellow Task Force members for organizing this event, I look forward to our continued commitment to the Townsend-Raitt community!

Volunteer at the Central County Health Expo and Senior Resource Fair

Help us serve Orange County’s most medically vulnerable residents by volunteering at the Central County Health Expo and Senior Resource Fair on Saturday, October 11, 2014! We are in need of dental, medical and vision professionals such as doctors, assistants and nurses, as well volunteers without medical experience to help with logistical tasks. Various volunteer shifts available! The more medical professionals that are available, the more people we can help and serve on that day.
