FREE Christmas Concert Saturday
|
Join us for the FREE inaugural Christmas Concert at Mile Square Park at Freedom Hall THIS Saturday, December 22! Bring your friends and family to enjoy musical performances by local choirs and the world-renowned All-American Boys Chorus! The concert will begin at 5 p.m. and end at approximately 7 p.m. Family-friendly holiday music will be accompanied by a FREE face-painting booth hosted by Marilu Torres and the Beauty Glam Academy, reindeer antler ears for audience members will be provided, and an exciting sing-along with the All-American Boy's Chorus! In addition, Santa Claus will be on hand for pictures! Please use the entrance located at Edinger and Ward to enter. Parking is FREE inside the park; staff will be on hand to help direct traffic to parking areas. Local performers include the St. Joseph Church Samoan Choir, Ca Đoàn of St. John the Baptist Church, the Santa Ana High School Chamber Singers, and the All-American Boy's Chorus. Chairman Do Sponsors Noche de Paz

On Saturday, Chairman Andrew Do’s office sponsored Noche de Paz at the Santa Anita Center in Santa Ana! Over 500 people joined in the festivities along with Santa Anita Association President Felipe Guerrero, Mayor Pro Tem Juan Villegas, and Councilman David Peñaloza. Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers and community organizations who make this event possible every year!

The Cambodian Family Hosts Annual Community Breakfast with Santa Claus
|
Chairman Andrew Do’s office also sponsored The Cambodian Family Community Breakfast with Santa Claus on Saturday. Over 200 families and children received a donated gift and participated in fun-filled holiday activities! The Cambodian Family provides refugee and immigrant families the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills to become healthy, happy, self-reliant, and contributing members of society. Thank you, The Cambodian Family, and happy holidays to all!

Stuff-A-Bus
|
Every holiday season, Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and a host of sponsors are busy stuffing buses with toys for local children in need! Chairman Andrew Do, also an OCTA Board Member, stopped by to add to the collection of gifts. Thank you to OCTA, ABC7, Honda Center and Anaheim Ducks for sponsoring this Spark the Love Toy Drive, filling our OCTA buses all day to give to children in need across Orange County!

Swearing In Santa Ana Councilwoman Cecilia Iglesias

Last Tuesday, Chairman Do swore in the newest member of the Santa Ana City Council, Cecilia Iglesias. Councilmember Iglesias has been a member of the Santa Ana Unified School District School Board and active in a number of community organizations. Congratulations Councilwoman Iglesias! Metrolink’s New CEO
|
Metrolink has hired a new CEO, Stephanie Wiggins, who brings a wealth of experience from her previous positions at three other transportation agencies. Most recently, Wiggins was the Deputy CEO at LA County’s Metropolitan Transportation Agency. In addition to an impressive resume, Wiggins is the first African American, female CEO in Metrolink’s 26-year history. Congratulations to CEO Stephanie Wiggins on her accomplishment! Looking forward to working with her and the rest of the Metrolink Board to support frequent, safe, and reliable service to our residents!
