Meeting with the Business Community

This past week Supervisor Andrew spoke with the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce to give an update of our progress on homelessness, housing, and public safety in Orange County. A strong business community leads to a strong economy, and Supervisor Do shared his appreciation with them and the steps he has taken while on the Board of Supervisors to support our local businesses.

Helping our Senior Grocery Program
|
Supervisor Andrew Do stopped by our County Community Service Center in Westminster to help distribute groceries to seniors through Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County’s Senior Grocery Program. We will have more opportunities for groceries for seniors at the below dates.

This past week was our intern, Jocelyn Gomez’s last week with the office. She is a Santa Ana resident and her family owns a small business in Westminster. Thank you, Jocelyn, for all your help in serving our community. Wishing her all the best as she graduates from CSU Dominguez Hills this May!

Meet this week’s pet, Nelly! Nelly (A1618975) is a sweet 6 year old Chihuahua who’s ready to find her new best friend! She loves going for walks and getting back scratches from you! Nelly absolutely loves to play, and squeaky toys are her favorite! Help this adorable girl find a fur-ever home of her own! 
Also, great news: Angela, whom was we previously featured in our office newsletter was adopted!
