This family-friendly holiday concert will be accompanied by a face-painting booth, reindeer antlers for children, as well as free cookies, donuts, hot cocoa, and coffee for all guests. Children will also get the opportunity to speak with Santa and get their photo taken! Celebrating Christmas at the Santa Anita Neighborhood
It was such an honor to have been part of last Saturday’s Noche de Paz celebration at the Santa Anita Neighborhood where 350 toys were passed out to kids! Kids were also treated to face paint by the Beauty Glam Academy, an OCFA engine to climb into, and a Santa Ana Police Department SWAT vehicle to check out. Thank you, Felipe Guerrero, for your passion and dedication to the Santa Anita Neighborhood. Special thanks to the Los Amigos High School volunteers, 7-Eleven, and Suavecito Pomade for their generosity!

OC Board of Supervisors Approves Partnership with Community Colleges
On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved my proposed revisions to the current County University Program, to include community colleges. Due to low and no cost tuition rates already provided by community colleges, under the revisions to the current policy, they will not be required to provide reduced tuition in order to obtain the benefits provided to universities. Our community colleges have some of the best professors in the country who are invested in their students. This policy is about respecting and promoting our community colleges.

Meet Our Pet of the Week, Tawny!
From OC Animal Care: Tawny is a sweetheart and volunteer and staff favorite here at OC Animal Care! She would love to go to training where she can learn how to be the best dog she can be! She walks well on the leash and knows how to sit for treats. She has done well with some dogs in large dog playgroups, but proper introductions are a must! She’s a friendly girl who’s ready to find her home for the holidays! Animal ID# A1633596 Pit Bull Spayed Female 7 Years Old Intake Jurisdiction: Santa Ana
