Stay Safe this Holiday Season!

I know that our celebrations are very different this year, with COVID-19 preventing us from gathering as we normally would. My family is spending some quality time together this holiday season but missing our extended family and relatives who we are usually so excited to see.

While this is far from ideal, it is the best course of action we can take in order to make sure next Thanksgiving is one of family gatherings and expressions of togetherness. Do your part, wear a mask, and practice physical distancing.

Together, we can beat this virus so we may celebrate the holidays as they are intended, close together with those we love.

Wishing everyone a joyous Thanksgiving!

Recognizing Latino Health Access’ Work in the Community

It was an honor to be recognized by Latino Health Access, alongside Supervisor Doug Chaffee, for our work in creating the Latino Health Equity Initiative, a program designed to address many of the barriers that keep people from accessing vital information and resources that have only been exacerbated by COVID-19.

Thank you, Executive Director Dr. America Bracho and all staff, for your critical work in providing testing and resources to our Latino communities across Orange County during this pandemic. I look forward to continuing the good work we have accomplished together.
