The Pet Adoption Event hosted by Supervisor Todd Spitzer and OC Animal Care was a great success with 93 pets being adopted. The total number of pets adopted was 52 dogs, 37 cats, 2 bunnies, a turtle, and one finch.
“It’s worth celebrating that 93 animals were rescued and adopted. Nearly every adoptable dog and two thirds of the cats found great homes,” said Supervisor Todd Spitzer. “Each day new animals become available at OC Animal Care to be adopted. I hope that people will continue to make an effort to rescue animals when they are thinking about caring for a pet.” |
