First 5 Orange County allocates funds to programs that promote health and early education for children in our community. Commissioners will support the First 5 Orange County's Strategic Plan and support the First 5 Orange County's goals of connecting and enhancing the systems of care to improve outcomes for young children and their families. In the role, Commissioners will serve a two-year term, meet six times per year, serve on ad-hoc committees, and represent First 5 Orange County at community events. The recruitment is open to new applicants and current members. If you would like to apply for one of the three open seats on the Commission (two seats in the health category and one seat in the education category), please fill out the application here.
