I hosted a forum at San Juan Hills High School this past Monday, where I offered remarks about the dangers of opioid addiction and fentanyl crisis in our community. I was joined by Health Care Agency staff including Dr. Veronica Kelley, pictured below. 

To keep the momentum on bringing attention to accidental overdose and opioid addiction, I invite you to take advantage of National Prescription Take Back Day by visiting one of five locations in our district including, Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods and San Clemente.

I was honored to attend Extraordinary Lives Foundation (ELF) Gala on October 19, to support Children's Mental Health & Wellness. Congratulations on a successful event!

I enjoyed a great time at the Evening with the Mayor event this past Wednesday. I'm here with Aliso Viejo Mayor, Ross Chun, Soka University President, Ed Feasel and his faculty, and my OC Historical Commission appointee, Bob Bunyan.

At the Pacific Marine Mammal Center Gala October 23rd with Roger Faubel and Carla Meberg. This wonderful fundraising event supports maintenance and operations of the center, helps secure necessary supplies, food, medication and equipment to effectively run the animal care unit, and provides the means to expand their research department and education and outreach programs.

Dylan is a 4-year-old Blue Nosed Pit Bull who is full of sugar, spice, and everything nice! This sweet boy is as loyal as can be and just wants to be with you all day long, getting lots of love and attention! Dylan is incredibly smart and knows sit, shake, and lay down, and he takes treats very lightly, like a true gentleman. Since Dylan’s arrival as a stray in August, we’ve been working to help him gain some healthy weight so he can look and feel his best! Dylan enjoys the outdoors and is a pro at walking nicely on the leash, stopping to smell the flowers along the way of course! Dylan will do best in a home where he can be the only pet since he loves hogging all of the human attention. People are his absolute favorite!
