North East Santa Ana Little League Kicks-Off Season
Last Saturday, I had the honor of helping the North East Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) kick-off the 2020 season! Congratulations to Eagle Scout Zach Siebert for receiving the Road to Eagle Scholarship after fundraising for NESALL’s brand new bullpen. With the help from construction lead, Bob Colgam, Zach and his team invested 700 hours on this project. I also want to recognize outgoing president, Dwayne Anglebrandt, for his amazing service in NESALL. And congratulations to the incoming president, Rudy Zamudio!

Project Youth’s Career Day Helps Students Prepare for their Future
Last Thursday, team Andrew Do participated in Project Youth OCBF’s Career Day. Juniors and seniors from Project Youth and the Achievement Institute of Scientific Studies (AISS) chatted with representatives from local universities and a variety of other career fields. Students also got the opportunity to listen to a panel discussion and participate in one-on-one interviews. Thank you to Karen Ruan, executive director of Project Youth, and Debbie Wells, executive director of AISS, for allowing my team to talk to students about local government and some of the internship and job opportunities available with the County of Orange.
