I stand with my fellow residents of Santa Ana, Westminster, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, and Midway City in saying we have done our fair share in addressing the needs of the homeless population. Our district provides over 850 units of emergency shelter and supportive housing for the homeless.
I am committed to addressing homelessness, but the entire weight of this county-wide issue cannot fall on the shoulders of Central Orange County.
I am confident that the responsibility will not fall solely on our district because Judge Carter has shared a similar sentiment, saying that we will not be putting the entire homeless population in Santa Ana.
Instead of saying, “No, not in my city,” I encourage everyone to join in finding a solution. |

| Westminster Spring Festival |
|
Chairman Andrew Do’s office took part in the City of Westminster Spring Festival celebrating the spring season with the entire community.
The festival featured craft vendors, children’s activities, delicious food, fun attractions and performances, games and bounce houses. |

| Central OC Job Fair |
|
On Thursday, Chairman Andrew Do kicked off the Central Orange County Job Fair with job seekers and 57 different employers.
Cain from Barnabas Clothing Co. has hired three managers for their small business through Orange County Job Fairs just like this.
Garden Grove City Councilman John O’Neill and Doug Mangione of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers are seeking new apprentices for their trade, offering a way to work while you learn.
Thank you to all the employers who participated and the OC Development Board for helping host this event!
