As we get ready to ring in the new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished together this past year in Orange County.

From mental health to housing, infrastructure to veterans' services, we have delivered on our promises to serve the people of Orange County.

Over the summer, we celebrated the completion of the first two phases of our plan to revitalize the Orange County Civic Center. We started this revolutionary vision when I was first elected in 2015. The new Civic Center with its One Stop Service Center reflects the new philosophy of customer service at the County.

After years of advocating on behalf of our veterans, we will soon have our very own county-operated Veterans Cemetery. It is both an honor and a privilege to give back to those who have served us all so valiantly.

Thank you to my colleagues, stakeholders, community leaders, and county staff for all your support. I look forward to continuing the great work we started last year and reaching new horizons in the year ahead.
