The Orange County Board of Supervisors allocated a match in funds of up to $250,000 for a public education campaign. The Irvine City Council voted unanimously tonight to approve a proposal by Councilman Jeff Lalloway to allocate $25,000 toward the worthy efforts of the Orange County Task Force for Drowning Prevention.
