Honoring Happy Harvesters

Earlier this month, my District Representative, Jack Du, presented a proclamation in recognition of Kathy Faith of Happy Harvesters.

In 2021, Kathy began collecting unwanted fruit from neighborhood fruit trees and shared it with local Orange County food banks. That led to the creation of Happy Harvesters, which combats food insecurity. This year, Happy Harvesters has donated roughly 47,000 pounds of fruit to local food banks. Thank you to Kathy and Happy Harvesters for their ongoing commitment to our community!
