Magnolia Science Academy Graduation
Last week, I had the privilege of honoring Magnolia Science Academy’s graduating class of 2021. Thank you to the school administration for inviting me to be the keynote speaker at this special event. To the graduating class of 2021: You are all stepping into a world that has forever changed because of COVID, and the fallouts from this experience will have a long-lasting, far-reaching, and poignant impact on the future of our world. It brings me such pride to know that even during unprecedented adversity, you all remained hopeful, adaptable, and persevered. I am sure that this strength and optimism will continue to be a part of you as you embark on the next chapter of your life’s story and will inspire all of those you meet. I also extend a salute to the family members and faculty who made this milestone possible.

Magnolia Street Bridge
I’m pleased to announce that the second half of the Magnolia Street bridge over the I-405 Highway is now open to traffic! This project was one of many that was funded by the voter-approved Measure M, Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements. The completion of this bridge, along with dozens of completed walls and miles of new roadways paved, means the 405 Improvement Project is more than halfway finished. Construction is never easy to deal with, but we are so close to the finish line! Click here to view a video created by OCTA.
